Electromagnetic disc clutches
Electromagnetic multi-plate disc clutches are used to connect and disconnect two rotating components of a system, using an electromagnetic field that attracts the friction discs to each other. They make it possible to transmit torque from the driving shaft to the driven shaft. The force with which the discs are pressed together determines the amount of torque transmitted
Used for the remote electrical control of electromechanical transmissions, they are perfect for applications requiring engagement at speed: full torque transmission occurs with small initial slips, ensuring a smooth and linear start without jerky movements..
The operation requires lubrication. To ensure the discs are lubricated, make sure oil is circulating by adding it through the holes in the shaft.

Shocks and vibrations can be better absorbed during transmission engagement, thus protecting components like motors, couplings, and gears.
